Early Morning Write-ins

Are you working on a novel? Need some inspiration? Why not join us at 6am in our private members-only writing room for an hour long writing session? We do two 25 minute sprints and try to get as many words on the page as possible.

To join, go to our Facebook group page and click on the link in the featured posts. If you’re not a member and would love to join us, find out more about signing up to our chapter here.

“Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on.” – Louis L’Amour

It’s Official!

We are now a bona fide chapter of the wonderful Sisters in Crime network and the first in the United Kingdom and Europe. Our President is Melissa Williams-Pope, our Vice President Jennifer Young, our Secretary Stella Oni and our Treasurer, Biba Fielding.

We came into being in July 2021, and our mission is to promote, support and recognise the professional development of women crime writers in the United Kingdom and Europe. To join our chapter, sign up here or get in touch.

We’re excited to kickstart the year with some wonderful guest speakers, lots of exciting fundraising and networking opportunities, and practical advice to help our members develop and succeed as writers and publishing professionals.

We are open to writers of all genders, as well as readers, publishers, bloggers, booksellers and anyone interested in the genre. We hope you’ll join us for this exciting journey.
