Ready to connect with fellow crime writers, sharpen your craft, and be part of a supportive community? Joining Once Upon A Crime is your ticket to exclusive resources, expert insights, and a network of like-minded writers!

📢 Important Note: Since we are part of the global Sisters in Crime organisation, you’ll need to sign up for the international membership either before or after joining our chapter.

Follow these easy steps:

🕵️‍♀️ Step 1 – Join Our Chapter

Chapter membership is £20 for the calendar year (January to December), and everyone renews together in January. Fill out the form below and pay £20 for your local chapter membership. This is a secure form, and you can pay using any currency.

Once your membership fee has been received, you will receive a confirmation from our Chapter President, including a welcome email with all relevant information for joining our various online groups, chapter meetings, workshops, newsletter and WhatsApp groups.

🌍 Step 2 – Join SinC USA (SinC National Group)

Join the SinC National body of Sisters in Crime. You can do that here. Your membership will be processed by their administrators, not us, but we do have to update our records to make sure you’re a member.

🎟 Chapter Membership Payment

🔹 Single Chapter Membership – A one-time payment of £20.

Please note: from January 2027, chapter dues will be collected by Sisters in Crime national alongside your international membership renewal, so you’ll pay both in one place. We’ll email all members with details nearer the time.

We can’t wait to welcome you into our crime-writing family! If you have any questions, feel free to email us at 📧 ukeu.sinc@gmail.com — we’re happy to help.
